Actions by husband and wife, consolidated for trial and on appeal, in the district court for Hennepin county, to recover for injuries to the wife and consequential damages sustained by the husband claimed to have been caused by the negligence of the defendants city, Max Saliterman, and the Crystal Super Market in respect to their maintenance of a public sidewalk. The case was tried before Vince A. Day, Judge, and a jury. At the close of plaintiffs case the court directed verdicts for defendants, and plaintiffs appealed from an order denying their motions for a new trial.
